Determining Which Standard Trailer Hub To Replace Mobile Home Hub On Trailer
Question:
Good morning. Im looking to replace a mobile home trailer hub that has the following two bearings: Dexter 10-41 and a Hyatt LM67048. I was hoping for a standard hub without the brakes that will allow me to do highway driving. Are there other measurements I need to determine the best hub?

I would be happy to help you find the correct replacement hubs to replace your mobile home hubs, but the Dexter 10-41 is actually a grease seal part number and does not tell us the other bearing your spindle uses.
To confirm the correct replacement hub you will need to find the bearing number for the other bearing. The easiest way to determine the bearing is to look for the bearing number stamped in the face of each bearing as shown in the included picture of the # L44649.
If the other bearing is worn to the point that you cannot read the bearing number you will need to use digital calipers like # PTW80157 to precisely measure your spindle according to the included diagram.
If you can tell me the bearing combination, or spindle measurements I would be happy to recommend the correct replacement hub for you.
