Brake Controller for 2007 Ford F750 with Air Brakes  

Question:

Can I add an electric trailer brake controller and harness and 7 way plug to this truck? It is 20078 with Cummins 5.9.

The brake controller # 90195 will work with your truck. You will just have to tie the brake wire into the brake signal wire on your truck.

I recommend the Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller # HA100400C. You can add a # ETBC7 to your truck and this will allow you to plug trailers with a 7 pole plug into it.

Another option that people are turning to for trucks with air brakes is the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180. This brake controller will plug directly into the 7 pole on your truck and will be controlled by your phone. The nice part about this brake controller is if you have any other vehicles that don't have brake controllers, you can use the Echo with it so long as the vehicle has a 7 pole outlet on it.
