Hello, I am purchasing at travel trailer and I need a break controller to set up in my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with towing package. Please make a recommendation of a really good - dependable unit that has a direct plug in that will fit my Jeep.

For your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the factory towing package and 7-way connector I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is an extremely reliable trailer brake controller that has great features like an easy to read LCD screen and built in diagnostics.

To install it in your Grand Cherokee you will need the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # TK93VR which will plug into the factory trailer brake controller port under the dash and will take care of all of the wiring required to use the # 90195.
