Dimensions of Curt Trailer Hitch # C14355 for 2004 Ford F-250 with Knapheide Body
Question:
Can you provide me with overall dimensions for this hitch? Such as how far down from the frame would be the top of the 2x2inch opening? The distance from the first set of mounting holes to the 2x2inch opening? I have a 2004 F250 Superduty with a 8foot Knapheide body. Thank you!

After going out to our warehouse to make some measurements on the Curt Trailer Hitch # 14355, I have found the measurement from the center of the furthest bolt hole to the outer edge of the 2-inch by 2-inch receiver opening is 26-1/2 inches. The measurement from the center of the nearest bolt hole to the outer edge of the receiver opening is 13 inches. Finally, the measurement from the top of the hitch frame to the top edge of the receiver opening is 4-1/2 inches.
I have included a graphic showing these measurements. I have also included links to the written installation instructions for this hitch as well as a video demonstration of this hitch being installed on your vehicle.
If you need a ball mount and hitch balls for your hitch, you may be interested in the Curt Ball Mount # C45900. It comes with a 2-inch ball with a 10,000-lb weight capacity and a 2-15/16-inch ball with a 14,000-lb weight capacity and features a 5-1/4-inch rise and a 6-inch drop.
I have included links to our FAQ pages on trailer hitch installation tips and choosing the correct ball mount.
