Can 7-Way Be Added to Freightliner Semi Truck

Question:

I have a Freightliner M270 2017 year model. I need to install a 7rv trailer plug in the back for a trailer. The truck never came with trailer wiring from the factory and we have a trailer with ABS. Hopefully, you guys can point me in the right direction of what i need to make this happen

We can help with a basic 7-way and wiring but we do not have anything that's going to actuate ABS brakes.

You can hardwire in a 7-Way, # HM47210 though. For this 7-Way the white wire is ground, yellow is left turn signal and brake lights, green is right turn signal and brake lights, brown is the tail light wire, red is auxiliary power, blue is output to electric brakes, and purple is reverse lights.

If the turn signals and brake lights are not combined on the same circuits then instead of HM47210 you will need a version that has a converter to combine the turn signals and brake lights # 22551.
