Could Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18110 Clear Rear Spare of 2006 Winnebago Aspect
Question:
Curt cargo-carrier-c18110, Interested in this cargo carrier, however I have a 2006 Winnebago Aspect with spare tire over the hitch receiver. I made a guess on the vertical distance from the face of the receiver to the face of the spare. Looks like 8-9 inches. Question: would I require an extended shank of some sort, or would the shank length on the c118110 provide clearance? Or is there an alternate carrier. I need a raised shank because the Aspect has very little road clearance. Advice?

Expert Reply:
The Curt cargo carrier part # C18110 has a distance of 11-1/8 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest edge of the carrier so based on the dimension you listed it would easily clear your rear spare. It also has a rise built into the shank of 3-3/4 inches which would help with ground clearance as well.
