Difference Between Timbren And SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer For 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 4WD
Question:
Hi Kyle I think my last question would be since I have the anti sway bars on the trlr will the superspring take alot more sway out or very little? If probably not notice able then I'm thinking air bags might be the answer.

So the difference between the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRCK15S and SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit # SSA28 are the benefits they offer and what you are looking to get out of an enhancement system.
The Timbrens # TGMRCK15S are jounce springs and how they work is simple but effective. When you have additional weight at the rear of your truck, like when towing, it will sag, causing the front of the truck to rise. This causes your front tires to make less contact with the ground, impacting your traction and steering. What the Timbrens do is take the brunt of that weight, cushioning the load, leveling and stabilizing your truck.
The SuperSprings # SSA28 are essentially additional, stronger leaf springs, and they offer the same benefits as the Timbrens, plus additional sway control. Like the Timbrens, the SuperSprings will bear additional weight at the rear of your truck when towing to keep you level and help with sag, but they also help control sway because the springs flex and stabilize to keep your Silverado in control when you would otherwise sway.
Both are simple to install and don't require maintenance like air bags, for example, so the best choice is really going to come down to what you need and how your truck performs when towing.
If you only need help with stabilization and sag, go with the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRCK15S.
If you want your Silverado to be level, but feel like added control over sway would be helpful when you are towing, then I recommend the SuperSprings Custom Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit # SSA28.
