How to Carry Two Heavy Kayaks on a 2018 Toyota Sienna
Question:
Hi. I have a Toyota Sienna 2018 with Thule Wingbars as my Crossbars. I would like to use the Thule Compass to transport 2 kayaks that are 13 long and 68 pounds each. I was wondering if the Compass would be okay with the extra weight and it it supported 13-14 ft length kayaks. Do you have any other carriers that support 2 kayaks?

I have a solution for you.
First, though, the Thule Compass, part # TH890000, will not be suitable for your application. The reason for that is the fact that the Compass can only handle a total weight of 130 pounds. Your two kayaks together will weigh more than that.
Instead, I suggest getting a carrier for each of the kayaks. I recommend the etrailer J-Style Kayak Carrier, part # e98878. Each of these can handle 150 pounds on their own, so just one of your kayaks will be no problem. I've linked to a video review of this carrier for you to look at.
As for the length, this carrier has included straps. As long as your kayaks are tied down properly, this won't be a problem.
Keep in mind that your Thule Wingbar Evos look to have a 165-lb weight capacity. The two kayaks together are 136 and the J-Style Kayak Carriers weigh around 11 each. Everything together will get you to between 158-160 pounds. That's close to your capacity, so you won't be able to load anything else on the roof. Also, be sure to check your owner's manual to ensure your roof can handle that amount of weight, too.
