Electric Bike Rack For Travel Trailer
Question:
I see that the Swagman 4 bike rack #S64400 is approved for travel trailers and will carry 4 bikes at 35 lbs per bike max. I have two e bikes one is 45 lbs and one closer to 50 lbs. Will this bike rack work on the back of my Escape 17 travel trailer If I only carry these two bikes?

If you're only needing to haul one bike you can use the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR which has a capacity of 70lbs per bike and can be used on your motorhome, RV, travel trailer or flat-towed vehicle. When racks like the Swagman4 your looking at # S64400 say they have a rating of 35lbs per bike, this is for each cradle. You cannot only use 2 spots on the rack and go over the rating unfortunately. We do not have a 4 platform style bike rack that can handle more than 2 e-bikes on a travel trailer.
