Will the Reese Custom Install Kit Fit on a 2013 Chevy 2500HD with Pre-Installed Wheel Well Liners
Question:
I just purchased a 2013 Chevrolet 2500HD. The truck came with rear wheel housing liners pre-installed. Can I still use the outboard rail brackets from Reese?

You can install the Reese Custom Install Kit, # RP56001-53, with the outboard brackets on your 2013 Chevrolet 2500 HD with the wheel well liners. In fact, our installers just installed a gooseneck hitch with outboard frame brackets on a 2013 Chevy 3500HD with the wheel well liners yesterday and had no problem.
You may want to temporarily remove the wheel well liners to make the installation easier, but once the brackets and base rails are installed, you can re-install the wheel well liners.
The base rails that are included with this kit will work with any Reese, Curt, Valley, Husky and Pro Series fifth wheel hitch that uses above bed rails.
