Hooking up the 4 Pole to 5 Pole Flat Converter to a 2008 Dodge Durango
Question:
Hi guys, received the hitch, wiring harness etc...thanks much. I have a quick question: Trying to hook the 4 to 5 flat converter up, but I dont know what color the back-up light wire is on my 2008 Dodge Durango. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, there is not a standard color wire used by vehicle manufacturers for the taillight functions. In our experience, the Chrysler back-up light is run with a violet wire, and the Jeep vehicle uses a brown wire for back-up lights. I do not have information on a Dodge truck. In any case, you will want to use a circuit tester, item # PTW2993, to make sure you have the right wire.
