Question:
I have an old Falcon 5250 towbar that I want to use to tow a 2005 Mini Cooper Standard. I have all the parts that go with it except the baseplate. I dont have any cables or wires, except 2 safety cables. could you provide a list of all the parts needed to complete the connections and be able to tow my vehicle. Thanks

If you already have the Falcon 5250 tow bar and safety cables, the only remaining pieces you need are a base plate, wiring for lights, and a brake system.
For your base plate, the one for your 2005 Mini Cooper that is compatible with the Falcon 5250 is the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit, part # 521876-1. It has removeable arms and is compatible with all Roadmaster tow bars (like the Falcon).
For the wiring (which is needed to power a brake system), you can use the Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit with Bulbs, part # RM-155. It bypasses your vehicle's wiring so you won't void your warranty. I've linked to a video installation of this so you can see how it's done.
Finally, for the brake system itself, I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. It's one of our most popular and highly-rated brake systems. I've linked to a video review of this one as well.
