Flat Towing Base Plate Kit for 2017 Jeep Wrangler Willys Edition
Question:
Looking for a base plate for a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Willys. I have an aftermarket winch bumper, but should have plenty of room for a base plate underneath. Any other advice would help. Thanks.

Roadmaster lists the # RM-521448-4 as a fit for the 2017 Wrangler Willys edition, but they also go on to say that the base plate kit isn't compatible with aftermarket bumpers. Without knowing which bumper you have, I couldn't speculate on if it would be compatible or not. If you'd care to reply with that information, I can provide a more definitive answer.
If your bumper is rated for towing and has D-rings on it, you could use a Roadmaster tow bar like the Falcon All Terrain, part # RM-522 and the D-ring adapters like # RM-035 for D-rings with 3/4 inch wide tabs or
# RM-035-1 for 7/8 or 1 inch thick tabs.
You'll also need a diode kit/taillight wiring harness like part # RM-152-98146-7, a supplemental braking system like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR and a # RM-9332 12-volt outlet kit.
