HD or Non-HD Version of RoadActive Suspension kit for 2016 Ford F-150
Question:
Hello, I have a 2016 Ford F150, 3.5L Ecoboost. I tow a 30 travel trailer with a weight distribution hitch. The hitch weight is 738 lbs. I am considering purchasing the Roadmaster Active Suspension Leafspring enhancement kit. The rear of the truck sags 4.5 inches with the trailer attached without the weight distribution hitch. I am considering the HD version kit due to the sag. Does the HD kit provide a stiffer ride when not loaded versus the non-HD kit? If so, would you recommend buying the non-HD version since I have a WD hitch to assist? Thank you!

What we've found is that the HD version of the RAS systems are the way to go. They provide the best support, stability, and ride quality, and since they are adjustable you don't have to worry about them being overly harsh. For as much sag as you are experiencing you'd definitely want the extra capacity of the # RAS3611-YHD which is the correct kit for your 2016 Ford F-150.
