Installing Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller in 2006 Ford F-150

Hello, I am looking into the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Ford, Lincoln, Mercury Part Numbers: 39510,3035-P for a 2006 Ford F-150 Lariat and am wondering how I can tell if I need the 4-flat or the 7-way. Are you able to provide me with any guidance as to which one I may need? Any information that you can provide is greatly appreciated! Thank you. Sincerely,

The Tekonsha Voyager part # 39510 can install in your 2006 Ford F-150 with the part # 3035-P but if you have a 7-way this would be all you need. The 7-way trailer wiring socket looks like a black female socket at the rear of the truck which you'd be able to see if you looked at the rear of it. If instead you have a flat trailer connector with 4 pins you'd have a 4-way and would also need the # 37185 as well and you'd be set.
