I contacted Derale to verify that any transmission cooler will work on your 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee as long as it will fit where you want to install it. I recommend the Derale Series 9000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Item # D13611 as it is small enough to mount in many different locations but still provide you with the proper cooling for your transmission. I have also provided a link to the different size coolers for a Jeep Grand Cherokee so you can take a look and get a better idea of the different types.
