I have a solution for you, but the Adarac Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A46FR for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 short bed has slightly different shaped crossbars; however, we've dealt with this before and I have a great solution. The Adarac crossbars on the systems typically have dimensions of 1-1/2 inches tall and 1-1/2 inches wide, so you'll just need to use an adapter or different bolts to accommodate the bar size in most cases.
I recommend starting with the Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Carrier # TH834, which has a nice, compact design and comes with tie down straps included. Then you'll just need to add the Xadapt3 # THXADAPT3. This kit is made up of longer bolts to help with proper mounting on these larger crossbars.
If your particular system includes crossbars with different dimensions, please let me know and I will be happy to confirm if this will fit or recommend another option. You will need one J-style carrier for each kayak you're carrying.
