Finding Stoplight Circuit on 2019 Chevrolet Express Van for Installing Brake Controller
Question:
We tested all the wires on the brake switch and none of them light up when the brake pedal is pushed. How do we know what wire to use for the red wire on the aftermarket brake controller

We have an easy solution to provide a stoplight circuit on your 2019 Chevy Express Van with the Roadmaster Universal Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751000. Some vehicles have a hard time finding the stoplight circuit but this switch solves the problem.
If you tested all of the wires at your brake pedal and none of them show voltage when the pedal is pressed I'd also check to make sure your third brake light fuse is good. If it's blown that would be why none of the wires are showing voltage.
