Fantastic Fan Replacement Motor

Question:

I have 1999 vintage Fan-Tastic Vent Fans in our 1999 American Eagle RV. I need to replace the motor in one of them, and I want to confirm that your Item # FVK8017-00 will work. My units have no model # visible, but they are the standard ones with both the thermostat and the rain sensor. Also can I assume that the new motor/fan combo needs to be installed from on the roof? Thanks.

As long as your measurements of the fan and mounting brackets match this, it will be the correct replacement for your vintage Fantastic Fan. I have included a dimensioned drawing for you to take your comparison from.

This is the only replacement motor for their fans, and is designed to be compatible with each of their models. Yes, this will install from the roof with ease.

If it were me I would use the Deka # DW05743-5 heat shrinking butt connectors. If you don't already have a good crimping tool I would use the Performance Tools # PTW30764 crimping pliers. They make a strong connection every time.
