How To Use Reuse B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch On 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500  

Question:

I have a 2018 silverado 2500 hd, I hav installed a Reese under bed fifth wheel rails and use a BandW Companion 20K hitch. I am considering getting a 2021 silverado 2500 HD. They are hard to find in my area that are already 5th wheel ready. What would I need to install under bed rails, could I use my current hitch, or if I do find one that is 5th wheel ready, what are my options? Thank you,

If the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 has the factory prep package then all you'd need to reuse the B&W Companion is a new base, the fixed version is part # BWRVB3710 and the slider version is part # BWRVB3775. If it does not have the the factory prep package you'd need the B&W Custom Underbed Installation Kit part # BWGNRK1020-5W and then a new base, the fixed version is part # BWRVB3500 and the slider version is part # BWRVB3405.

There is no Reese Elite Underbed Rail Kit for a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 2500.
