Recommended Weight Distribution/Sway Control for Travel Trailer With 750-1000 lb Tongue Weight
Question:
I have a Jeep gladiator sport S max tow 7650 tow rating. I am towing an alpha wolf 26DBHL 7200 lbs loaded, by 31. What is your best WDH with anti sway for 1,000 tongue? A major consideration is weight of the hitch itself since I am crowding my payload.

Any of the weight distribution/sway control systems we offer for a travel trailer of that weight will weigh in somewhere in the 100-125 lb range, there's not much variance in their weight.
Given your loaded trailer weight, your travel trailer's tongue weight will be somewhere in the 700-1000 lb range. Because travel trailers like yours are very susceptible to trailer sway caused by oncoming/passing traffic and crosswinds, I'd urge you to go with a weight distribution system with a very effective integrated sway control component.
I'd recommend the Blue Ox SwayPro, part # BXW1000 which is effective on trailers with tongue weights ranging from 750-1000 lbs, which is perfect for your travel trailer. The trailer ball is sold separately as part
# 19286. Weight-wise, the SwayPro is definitely on the lighter end of the spectrum at just over 80 lbs.
Since you're pretty close to the towing capacity of the vehicle, I'd also consider going with an aftermarket supplemental transmission cooler like part # D13502 to provide some inexpensive insurance for your transmission.
I've linked to a product demonstration video where one of my buddies on our install team shows a typical install and setup of the Blue Ox SwayPro. I've also linked to some helpful articles with additional information about transmission coolers.
