Helpful Expert Reply:
The TorkLift # TLC2205A and # TLC3205A Talon camper tie-downs will work great with your 2005 Silverado 2500 if it isn't equipped with running boards or tube steps that run under the truck bed and is equipped with the factory hitch.
The only other thing you'll need is turnbuckles like the stainless steel TorkLift Fast Guns, part # TLS9526-2-LK and a trailer connector in the truck bed if there isn't one there already. You can install one using part # C56000.
