To confirm the fit of the Yakima FrontLoader Wheel Mount Bike Carrier Item # Y02103 on your 2010 Subaru Outback Wagon factory roof rack, you will need to measure the total open area on the cross bar for mounting accessories. An open crossbar space of 7" is needed for the bike carrier to be secured down. The overall width of the rack is 8.5" wide, and this width is including the wheel loops. Using the bike rack along with the width of the Yakima SkyBox at 36" this could possibly cause contact with the cargo box and the bike rack during installation and travel. You will need a total of approximately 42" of cross bar space to accommodate both.
A fork mounted bike rack such as the Yakima ForkLift Roof Mounted Bike Carrier Item # Y02098 has only a 2.5" width. This is fantastic when needing to mount a bike carrier to the roof with minimal space. Now as a side note, you will want to position the bikes pedals properly when loading to prevent any contact or damage to the cargo box. With this carrier, you would need approximately a cross bar length of 38.5" minimum.
