It is all up to you. If the cover # EX37710 is cold it will not want to stretch as much. If you wanted to keep the rails installed when you're replacing the cover then I suggest leaving the cover out in the sun to get the material nice and warm. It will be easier to stretch that way. If you wanted to remove the rails and then install it you can do that too. More force will need to be applied to install the rails after, but again it is all your preference on which way you would like to perform the install.
