In order to flat-tow a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox you will need a number of different parts which I will attach for you below.
Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit part # RM-523184-5
Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar part # RM-520
Roadmaster 64" Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables part # RM-645
Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles part # HM56108
Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System part # SM99251
The bases plates are installed on the tow vehicle and then provides an attachment point for the tow bar. The tow bar then provided a link between the tow vehicle and toad. The safety cables which are required by law then provide an extra measure of security. The wiring harness translates the signals form the motorhome to the towed vehicle and then the braking system does the same but for the brakes so you can come to a smoother stop.
