Base Plate and Tow Bar for a 2016 Jeep Wrangler with a Smittybilt Carbine Bumper

I have a 2016 Jeep JK with a Smittybilt carbine front bumper. Is there a baseplate that will work with that bumper?

While we do not have base plates that are specifically made for a 2016 Jeep Wrangler with a Smittybilt Carbine bumper, we do have something that works with it.

Since the Smittybilt has d-rings, you can use these as attachment points for a tow bar with a d-ring adapter. Roadmaster has one, it's part # RM-035, of which I've linked a video review to below. You can then use a Roadmaster tow bar like the Falcon 2, part # RM-520. I've linked to a video review of this one, too.

Of course, you do want to check with Smittybilt to ensure that your particular bumper is rated for flat towing. Not all are, so it's something that you need to check.
