Recommended Solution to Lift 2021 Jayco North Point
Question:
Hello, Im not sure Im doing this right but my question is this. Can I move up my stabilizers ,equalizer systembrand name by a Days company, to get better ground clearance. They are so low I feel like they could get damaged leaving the gas station. The mechanic from where I bought it said I would have warranty issues if I raised them. Please help. Jayco North point 2021

I have a solution for you to raise your trailer, but I don't think going through a complete suspension overhaul is cost effective and won't give you the greatest additional clearance. I'll also add that lifting your trailer by changing components will not void your warranty unless the installation of those parts is the cause of a malfunction that damages the coach and we've seen many customers add lift kits to their new trailers without issue.
Your best bet, assuming that you have double eye springs that are currently mounted under your axles, would be using an Over/Under conversion kit like the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00; this kit is designed for 3" diameter axles. This type of lift would provide you with a lift equivalent to the diameter of the axle plus the height of your leaf spring pack- so you can get roughly 4-1/2" to 5"+ by going this route- which is going to be more than possible by simply swapping equalizers and suspension components.
You'll want to check the specification sticker on the axles of your trailer to determine their capacity, but typically 3" axles will have 5200-lbs to 7000-lbs capacity. If you can let me know what the capacity of the axles I can confirm what parts will work best for you.
