In order to determine the specific cold inflation pressure of your tires, I will need to know the load rating of the tire. The load rating or load range designation should be stamped on the tire.

We carry two Loadstar 4.80-12 tires, a load range C tire, # AM10062, and a load range B tire, # AM10060. The inflation pressure will be different based on the load rating. The load range C tire can support a maximum load of 990 lbs at 90 psi and the load range B tire can support 785 lbs at 60 psi.

If you can tell me the specific load rating or weight capacity of your tire, I can give you a more accurate inflation pressure.

Hi John........my tirees are loadstar. Load range C. That said, I have a 14' fiberglass boat and 15hp motor. Not too heavy....maybe 500 lbs. My tires are registering about 15lbs. I was concerned about over inflating. Any suggestions? Thanks,

If you have 4.80-12 size tires with a Load range C, they should ALWAYS be inflated to their max psi of 90. Most trailer tire manufacturers, including Kenda, recommend that their tires always be inflated to their max psi regardless of the actual trailer weight.
