How to Determine Which Replacement RV Roof Vent Lid is Needed

Question:

I have a 2000 Haulmark Elite II 24ft enclosed trailer and I was wondering if you would have a cover that would fit the vent on the roof. Or could recommend a replacement for complete vent. By the way it is a manual operate vent.

We don't have a good reference to determine which actual vent was originally installed on your trailer, but it's pretty easy to determine which replacement lid you'll need.

To find the correct replacement lid for the vent on your enclosed trailer, you'll need to check the following features on the existing vent or lid and match those up with the replacement lid. You'll need to identify the size of the vent, the configuration of the hinge and choose the desired color of the lid.

Typically, the vent opening in the roof will be about 14-1/4 inches square. Replacement lids will typically use one of three possible hinge configurations, 3-point, 4 point or continuous. I'll provide a photo showing an example of each hinge style.

There are also universal hinge fit covers, like # MA00-335001 for white or # MA00-335002 for smoke.

I'll link you to a help article that shows how to determine which replacement you need, as well as to our selection of replacement vent lids.
