Underbed Fifth Wheel Hitch Solution for 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 that Could Transfer to New Truck
Question:
I have 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 8 bed without the 5th wheel prep package. I need to buy a 5th wheel hitch and want something with under bed mounts but I would like to buy a hitch that can be used in a newer truck as I will be upgrading in a couple years. Is there a solution for my current truck that uses the puck system so I dont have to replace my hitch when I upgrade to a newer truck?

If you went with the Reese Elite Underbed Rail Kit part # RP30868 which fits your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 you can use the Reese Elite hitch part # RP30142 which also fits directly to Ford underbed rail kit too so if you went with a new Ford truck with the OEM rail kit this hitch would fit directly to it as Reese makes the OEM underbed rail kits.
