Using Powered Vent Fan In RV Bathroom
Question:
RE: Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - 6-1/4 Diameter - Smoke. We would like to install this in our Camper Van to vent cooking and shower, but If this is a vent fan, can you tell me why it says it should NOT be used over a shower?

It's not recommended that powered vents be used over a stove or in a bathroom because the additional condensation in the air can harm the electrical components in the fan motor. You could use a vent without a fan like # MA00-03700, but a fan installed in a bathroom or over a stove would have a shorter life expectancy.
