Do I Need To Use the Signal Booster with a 21' Class B Van?
Question:
Do you know if I would need to use the signal booster for this TireMinder version for my Class B van. The total van length is 21 ft. TM89FR I wouldnt know how to hook up the booster. My house batteries are lithium and are inside of some kind of box. Ive never actually seen them. Thanks.

The manufacturer directs that the signal booster be used with all installs. With your short van the monitor would probably not initially have any problems receiving the signal due to distance. However, the booster ensures a very strong signal that will not be affected by other radio interference such as cell phone boosters, and passing motorists. I would install the booster.
The connection to your house battery is very simple. I am sure that you will be able to handle it. If it were me I would probably replace the supplied alligator clips with ring terminals like the Deka # DW05705-1. If you do not have a good crimping tool I would also get the Performance Tool # PTW30764.
