Extra Long Hitch Pin for Toyota Tacoma Factory Hitch
Question:
Would that fit a an Yakima King Pin? The original bolt is too short for my Tacoma receiver...

Expert Reply:
The # Y8890200 hitch pin will fit the Yakima KingPin, but it still won't be long enough to pass through your wider that usual factory receiver on your Toyota Tacoma.
You'll need to remove the threaded insert in the shank of your bike rack, and at that point you'll be able to use an extra long lockable hitch pin like # 34061072-D which is compatible with the receiver on your Tacoma. Because the pin isn't threaded, you'll lose the anti-wobble feature but it would secure the rack in your hitch and help deter theft.
