Installation Options For The MagnaFlow Muffler
Question:
Can I use “U” bolts to install this?

You can use something similar to a U bolt to install your MagnaFlow Performance Muffler # MF12289. Its an exhaust clamp and you can find them at your local auto parts store. I usually recommend getting a band clamp so you don't have to worry about leaks. Sometimes the u bolts pinch the metals in ways to where they end up leaking a little. It may be quicker to grab a band clamp from your local auto parts store so you don't have to wait for a part to ship. Of course you could always weld it on, but the exhaust clamp or band clamp is easier to install and remove. The Band Clamp looks cleaner in my opinion. Up to you, either way will sound good!
