I have a solution for you, but there is not an airbag kit compatible with an in-bed hitch or gooseneck setup that is available for your 1998 Ram 2500 since they will use the same mounting points on the frame. However, there are solutions to help with your rear suspension that can be used with a gooseneck hitch.

For starters, I recommend using the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs # BWGNRK1394 because of the high quality and durability of B&W products. The gooseneck ball stores in the hitch and this kit is easy to install, without any drilling or removal of the truck bed required.

For a suspension enhancement that is compatible with the gooseneck hitch that will also help stabilize the rear end and help with sway events and load leveling, I recommend using the Timbren # TDR1525H4. This Timbren system will not effect your unloaded ride quality because they're progressively load bearing, meaning that they stiffen as weight is applied- so while they don't provide the customization that airbags do, they'll still make sure your ride is comfortable both loaded and unloaded. These will install easily on your Ram 2500 without any drilling required and Timbrens are extremely durable aeon rubber springs that won't pop or leak, so they're lower maintenance than an airbag system.

For a brake controller I recommend using the Tekonsha P3 # 90195, which is one of our most popular brake controllers. The P3 provides proportional braking and has an easy to read LCD screen that shows all of your settings; additionally it can be used with a variety of braking setups including electric or electric over hydraulic brakes. If your Ram 2500 came with a factory 7 way connector, you can use the plug and play adapter # 3020-P for an easy installation.
