Will Hardware Included With Solera RV Slide-Out Awning Protrude Through Trailer Wall

Question:

How long are the screws? Are most trailers wall thick enough so they don’t protrude through to the inside?

There are two different length screws used to drill into your trailer when installing the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000163285.

The screws used to secure the awning rail to the trailer are 1" long, and the screws used to install the bracket to the slide out are 1 1/4" long.

When I contacted Lippert about the potential of the screws protruding inside of the trailer they had not heard of any issues regarding screw length, and were confident that following the installation instructions you will not have any issues.

If you can tell me how wide your slide out is from outside edge to outside edge I would be happy to recommend the correct Solera RV Slide-Out Awning for you. I included a diagram that shows where the measurement should be taken on your slide out.

I included a video of the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LCV000163285 being installed for you to take a look at.
