There is not a difference between the B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3400 and the # BWRVK3400-5W other than their description on our website and the -5W on the end. Both options are used with the B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch.
The reason we do this is to allow them to be found in our fitguide under Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Adapters and as a 5th Wheel Hitch.
The B&W Companion # BWRVK3400-5W will be a great addition to your 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 6-3/4" Bed without the OEM Prep Package due to its sliding base that will give you extra cab to trailer clearance when making wide turns, and will not require rails that take up bed floor space when the hitch is removed.
The correct B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch for your vehicle is # BWGNRK1020.
I included a video of the B&W Turnover Ball being installed on a 2020 GMC 2500 and a review video of the B&W Companion Slider for you to take a look at.
