Recommended Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2016 Ford Edge Sport
Question:
I have a 2016 Ford edge sport that I would like to put a trailer hitch on. I noticed all of the Ford edge that you have on your website have a different rear bumper or diffuser than I have because they are not the sport model. Do you have a hitch that will fit my vehicle? Class three preferably

We do have trailer hitch receivers that will fit your 2016 Ford Edge Sport.
I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C78KR which is a Class III receiver with a hidden crossbar so you will only see the receiver once installed to keep a factory appearance. In our experience we have also seen that the powder coat finish Curt uses holds up exceptionally well and is made in the USA. I included a video of the Draw-Tite # 75234 being installed on a 2016 Ford Edge since the Curt # C78KR will install the same way.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a vehicle wiring harness, ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip.
For a vehicle wiring harness I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118677 which will plug into your factory harness with no splicing required.
I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 which includes two ball mounts, two hitch balls, two hitch pins and clips, and a carrying case.
