Roof Rack for 2020 Mini Cooper With Naked Roof
Question:
Hi, I have a 2020 F56 Mini Cooper S flat roof without rails. Would this Yakima kit fit on my MINI? I want to install a cargo carrier on the car. Your info would be very helpful! Thank you.

While we do have one roof rack option, I checked with Yakima and other roof rack manufacturers, and there is not a way to add a roof rack that clamps onto your 2020 Mini Cooper with a naked roof. The only option available to add a roof rack to your Mini is with the SeaSucker Monkey Bars Roof Rack # 298-SX6000B.
This rack uses six vacuum cups to attach to your roof and gives you an easy to use roof rack. The vacuum cups are extremely strong so any worry about them possibly flying off - they absolutely will not. They have a 210 lb pull rating per cup, so a combined total of 1,260 lbs for the rack, meaning the SeaSucker Roof Rack # 298-SX6000B isn't going anywhere once it's on your roof.
It is also absolutely compatible with a roof basket to carry cargo like you are looking to add, with a great option being the Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket # TH859XT.
I have added links below to some video reviews for you to check out as well.
