Power Control Center Compatibility with Large Wattage Rooftop AC Unit
Question:
I am looking at the Progressive Dynamics Transfer Switch and Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 90 Amp. My question is, do i need the transfer switch? Also will i be able to power a 12v, 1000 watt rooftop ac unit with the power control center? I did not see larger connections for higher amps... thank you/

The Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 90 Amp # PD4590K18LS8 will allow you to power your rooftop unit, but with the rated output of 1,220 watts that won't leave much power for other items. You won't need a transfer switch when using this power center.
