How Wide Is The Malone MicroSport LowBed Trailer With 78 Inch Crossbars

Question:

Im looking at the Malone Micro sport low bed wing style kayak trailer. My questions is the specs say the cross bars are adjustable to 63 wide yet the trailer is claimed at 78 wide. As the crossbars are wider than the wheels how can the overall be 78. Thanks

The Malone MicroSport LowBed Trailer # MPG464-LB has a crossbar spread of 44"-63" which is the distance in-between the two crossbars. You can adjust this by moving the front crossbar forward or backward to accommodate the load you plan on putting on the crossbars.

You are correct that the crossbars are the widest part of the trailer, so they dictate the width.

The Malone MicroSport Lowbed Trailer # MPG464-LB is 13'3" long by 78" wide and 22" tall with a crossbar weight capacity of 500 lbs.
