Hitch for RV Square Bumper that Can Carry a 4 Bike Rack

Question:

I want to add a hitch and a bike rack to the back of my travel trailer. I have a 4 inch by 4 inch bumper. The curt bumper mounted hitch stated I needed a strap to carry a non trailer load. I dont have anything that I could connect a strap to. What other hitches would be recommended? My second question is I would need a travel trailer bike rack. When I put that in the filter on your website it also filters out some trailer rated bike racks. I want to carry 4 bikes. What trailer rated bike racks are best? Are there any trailer rated platform racks? Thanks.

Curt actually stopped requiring the use of the stabilizer strap with their hitches like the Curt # E-100 that you referenced which would fit your 4 inch square bumper.

Not all bike racks are reinforced for the rougher ride at the rear of travel trailers like the Swagman XP # S64940 that can carry 4 bikes. This is a really solid choice that is rated for this application as well.
