Will the Superwinch S9000 Work on a Mounting Plate at the Rear Hitch Receiver of a 2012 Dodge Ram
Question:
Can I install the Superwinch S9000 on this mount? If so, if I want to use it on the back trailer hitch can I use the electrical sockets already on the truck above the hitch? If not, what woudl I need to do to get electrical power?

The Superwinch S9000 Heavy Duty Recovery Winch is confirmed to work with the Hitch Mounted Winch Mounting Plate # BDW20155. In order to install the winch at the rear of your vehicle you will also need to install a wiring kit like # BDW20206 because the wiring located at your bumper is not nearly adequate for the amperage draw of a winch. This will also give you quick connect terminals to make installing and removing the winch easy.
