Tips for Removing RV Toilet with Broken Floor Flange

Question:

Trying to remove the toilet in our camper trailer.... one nut came right off. The other, not so much! Its like the stud is stripped. I can only assume that the head is spinning in the groove. Am I just gonna have to break something?

It sounds like the plastic floor flange may be broken under your RV toilet and that the bolt head is just spinning as you said.

Before breaking something, I would try using a pair of plyers with a shop rag (or some other kind of padding) to hold the exposed end of the bolt in place while using your wrench to loosen the nut. The shop rag helps prevent the bolt threads from being crushed and making it impossible to remove the nut.

In case your current flange is broken, I have linked all of our available RV Toilet Floor Flanges for you.
