How Does the Jack Operate in the Lippert Electric Ground Control TT Automatic Leveling System
Question:
I’m very interested in ordering this system but am wondering does the tongue jack really stay up? Does it stress the tongue to hang or is it possible to to lower the front tongue jack after auto level is complete actually making it a 5 point system.

The Electric Ground Control TT Automatic 5-Point Travel Trailer Leveling System part # LC672136 uses the jack for the initial leveling but when all four of the pods are deployed and leveled the jack will retract.
It is perfectly acceptable to use the jacks switch to redeploy it and use it as a fifth point of contact. From my experience there wouldn't be a need for any additional support from the jack as the system is very solid but you will have the option.
