Replacement Door Lock for 1991 Jamboree Motorhome

Question:

I have a 1991 jamboree motor home....I need to replace door latch....I understand the # 295-000019 will work but will need to fill in open space.......I just want to make sure it will work before I order the lock....thanks

As long as the door on your 1991 Jamboree is between 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" thick and the cutout is 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall up to 3" wide x 4" tall, you'll have no issues using the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit with Keyed Alike Option - Black # 295-000019. To fill the space in the door, you'll likely just want to use some sort of foam insulation to keep cold air from entering any gaps and into the coach. If your cutout is larger than the above mentioned dimensions, you'll need to fabricate some sort of plate to close the gap and allow you to properly mount the door latch.
