Trailer Hitch Option for 2014 Toyota Camry for Bike Rack
Question:
Your recommendations for hitches verified to fit 2014 Toyota Camry that I am seeing are Class II hitches. Although we will be using the hitch mostly for a bicycle carrier, I am looking for a Class III hitch since our carrier has a 2inch tube. I can use a support strap if needed, but prefer to not. What are my options?

Trailer hitches with 2 inch openings are typically only available for vehicles that have higher towing capacities like trucks and SUVs. For lighter duty vehicles like your 2014 Toyota Camry there are only 1-1/4 inch hitches like the Draw Tite part # 36540. Your best solution would be a new bike rack like the Hollywood Racks RV Rider # HR200Z but there are also hitch adapters like # HTAD you could use as well but these cut the capacity of the hitch they are used in by 50 percent.
