Hitch Cargo Carrier Recommendation for 2009 Scion xB

While we do have a great choice for a cargo carrier that will fit and work with your 2009 Scion xB, the one you mentioned won't work because it is a fit for 2 inch hitches only. The problem with that is your '09 xB only has 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receivers available, with the best being the Class II Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12490.
For a cargo carrier that will work with a 1-1/4 inch hitch and your Scion, I recommend the Curt Cargo Carrier # C18145.
This carrier - which you can see pictured on a similar year Scion xB - is 48 inches long, 20 inches wide, and one of the things I really like about it is that it has 6 inch tall rails which keep your cargo in place and make for easy tie-down points. It also comes with an anti-rattle pin to keep any noise at a minimum for a quieter ride. If you need a bag to haul your gear as well, the great fit is the etrailer Cargo Bag # e98990.
