I recommend first double checking both sides of the fuse in question and making sure that neither side has power. If one side of the fuse has power but not the other you will need to replace the fuse.

If that doesn't work you may have a wire that has come loose. Start with checking the connectors that plug into your vehicles factory wiring harness, unplug and inspect the connectors for any corrosion or damage and then plug them back in. While you are there make sure to examine the wires for any damage.

The next step is to verify that the ground on your vehicle and on your trailer is attached to a clean metal surface and not covered in rust or loose. If you find rust on the ground wire connectors use some sandpaper or a wire brush to clean the surface and re attach.

If you can give me the make model and year of your vehicle I would be happy to help you find the correct fuses to check, and locations of the connectors you are looking for.

I attached a helpful article goes over some common wiring issues for you to take a look at.
