My EZ Latch Coupler will not Release what Should I Look for

My Ez coupler will not release. What are we doing wrong. Note it was just installed at the dealer.

Generally the Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler w/ Jack Hole part # DM14793-81 is very easy to release. There is a lock/pin hole located just under the latch that may have a pin in it preventing it from opening.

I have linked a photo showing exactly where the hole is on your coupler.

Hardware is not included with Demco coupler #DM14793-81. The reason for this is different applications can require different hardware whether it be length or material (because dissimilar metals can lead to corrosion problems).
